
ECDL is designed for novice or intermediate users. It assumes no prior expertise, and offers a flexible working programme.
The basic ECDL qualification is broken down into two levels: ECDL Essentials and ECDL Extra. These can be taken individually to obtain single certificates, or together to achieve the overall ECDL qualification.
ECDL Essentials
A Level 1 ITQ Award and consists of 3 courses.
- ECDL M1: Security for IT users
- ECDL M2: IT User Fundamentals
- ECDL M7: Using Email and the Internet
ECDL Extra
A Level 2 ITQ Certificate and consists of 4 courses.
- ECDL M3: Word Processing
- ECDL M4: Spreadsheets
- ECDL M5: Improving Productivity Using IT
- ECDL M6: Presentation
